Dennys Ilic Photography With a background in cinematography (having shot the international multi-award-winning “Face to Face” for director Michael Rymer, as well as lensing the first digital feature film in India), Dennys has for the past 18 years also pursued his passion as a professional photographer, serving a large array of clients from the major motion picture, television, magazine and music industries.
Dennys is now permanently based in Los Angeles where he has become best known for edgy and soulful images that capture the true essence of his subjects. His folio includes A-List actors such as Daniel Radcliffe, Jason Momoa, Halle Berry, Charlie Hunnam, Viola Davis, Keanu Reeves, Glenn Close, Ryan Reynolds, Cindy Crawford, Sandra Bullock, Melissa McCarthy, Karl Urban, Edward James Olmos, Rosario Dawson, Lawrence Fishburne, Mary McDonnell, Gwyneth Paltro, Kevin Hart, Lou Diamond Philips as well as the likes of Joel Silver, David S. Goyer and Peter Jackson to name a few.
His photography has been commissioned by film studios and musicians, including Warner Bros. Pictures, Roadshow, United Pictures International (UPI), Newline Cinema, Strange Music, HGTV: People Magazine, New York Moves Magazine, Gwyneth Paltrow’s GOOP Magazine, Vogue Italia, Modern Luxury Hawaii Magazine, Netflix: (for Dark Matter, Frontier and Longmire,) CBS (for Star Trek Discovery, Star Trek Picard), Warner/HBO (for Property Brothers), McLaren Auto, Seal, Alanis Morissette, AJ McLean (Back Street Boys), Lance Bass and NSYNC, Shinedown etc. Dennys is also known for having photographed actor Daniel Radcliffe for Warner Bros. over a five-year period for the covers and editorial stories of hundreds of international publications associated with the Harry Potter franchise and Daniel’s other film projects.
Dennys has been instrumental in publishing 5 successful hard-cover photographic art books and is in preparation for the creation of the Star Trek Discovery Coffee-Table Book, In 2017 Dennys was asked to exhibit his photographic work at the iconic flagship Leica Galleryin Hollywood Los Angeles. As of 2024 his exhibition still holds the largest attendance record. to date. Recently he was asked as supply his iconic “Entwined” image for Leica’s 2023 International Photographic Auction held in Vienna.
