In college at Ohio State, Mona Kuhn and her friends began experimenting with nude photography as a natural artistic expression. Utilizing a warehouse space, they explored the body as art, posing nude for each other and creating portfolios. This period was about artistic inquiry and wasn't driven by exploitation but rather by the ease of access to the human form and a desire to engage with a classic artistic subject.
