Sylvie Blum describes how she acquired her Los Angeles studio, which she later discovered was previously owned by renowned photographer Herb Ritts. Initially, she was simply looking for a space in Hollywood and stumbled upon it accidentally, unaware of its history. It was only when David Fahey visited her studio to review her work that he revealed its past connection to Ritts. Sylvie had been living and working in the space for three years without knowing its significant photographic legacy, adding an unexpected and magical layer to her studio experience.
